Cantina Bolzano, Pinot Grigio 2023

Cantina Bolzano is a co-operative winery established in 1908 in the very far north of Italy in the region of Alto-Adige. The winery was started with a view to making authentic, local wines driven by passionate winegrowers in the heart of the Dolomites. Starting with 18 growers, today the winery boasts a co-operative of 224 consisting of some of the best producers and vineyards the region has to offer. Pinot Grigio 2023 has a bright golden colour and bursts with note of ripe pear, red apple and a honeyed nuttiness. The palate has a mellow medium-body, which is tempered by a good level of acidity which both carries and balances the lovely fruity palate. A really versatile wine in terms of food, but for us it's a great pair with pork or creamy mushrooms dishes.
